Our green screen room attached to the design lab provides students with yet another space to embrace their creativity and get familiar with a key piece of technology used by the film and television industry.
Featuring high-powered and versatile lights and a green screen up to the high ceiling, this room allows students to create entire virtual worlds.
The room has been used for many classroom projects, as well as individual student projects undertaken outside of the classroom.
It was vital to the Drama department’s production of The Spread. It was used during the news broadcasting scenes, which were central to the narrative as the news broadcasts were the link in the story and furthered the plot. These scenes were pre-recorded and streamed during the live broadcast.
