Admissions to 2025–2026
Late Applications:
Our primary admissions cycle has concluded and we do not currently have spaces available. However, we recognize some families are still exploring educational options for September 2025 due to changing circumstances or relocation. As such, we are accepting Late Applications for Grades 8–11.
If families would like to submit a serious inquiry to SJS for 2025–2026, we invite you to complete a Late Application. If a space becomes available, Late Applications may be reviewed and select candidates will be invited for an admissions interview.
Interviews can be conducted in person or virtually. See below for more details.
Families will only be contacted if we are able to move forward with your Late Application. If we cannot do so, we welcome you to apply for the 2026–2027 school year, when our primary application process opens in September.
How to Apply
Application Requirements
Before applying to Grade 8 and above, we recommend that applicants consider the following:
- English Language Proficiency: Applicants should have at least three years of experience in an English-language instructional environment. If they have previously received ELL or ESL support, they should no longer require it, as SJS does not offer ELL support.
- Language Acquisition Requirement: Applicants to Grade 8 and above should have prior experience learning French or Mandarin*. As part of our International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum, students take either French or Mandarin until Grade 10. In Grade 11, they may continue in French or Mandarin or choose Spanish.
*SJS accommodates a range of French and Mandarin proficiency levels, depending on the cohort. To ensure we can offer a class that appropriately supports their level in French or Mandarin, select applicants may be required to complete a short language proficiency assessment as part of their admissions interview.
