Fashion Show

The sixth annual SJS Fashion Show came together flawlessly through the collaborative efforts of students and staff from both the Junior and Senior School and help from Annual Giving.

The show displayed the creativity of SJS Design students from Grade 6–10 and this year, for the first time, the show also featured siblings from the Junior School!

Ms. Stern, Senior School Principal, said: “What an amazingly professional and well-choreographed production, a true testament to the SJS spirit.”

As in past years, the show exemplified student learnings of the design cycle. The digital designs featured on a variety of products such as umbrellas, backpacks, hoodies, shoes and the fan favourite—the Canadian Tuxedo Jean Jacket!

The event was truly a school effort, with many people to thank for making it happen! A huge thank you and well done to the Executive Producers, Ms. Hall and Mr. Mullen, for leading the charge on planning the event, and their assistants Emily Lint, Lily Collins and Isla Betteridge for their support; Shaughnessy Gleig, Class of 2024, who exhibited a high degree of professionalism, knowledge and creativity as the event’s Master of Ceremonies; Kody Beaudoin and the Senior School Stagecraft members for their video, music and lighting technical skills; the Set Designer Ella Ni, Grade 10, whose theme of ‘exquisite’ certainly shone through in the show; and to George Whyte, whose video editing skills will help archive this event in a magnificent way.
