Thank you for considering SJS for your child’s education. We are excited to offer a variety of admissions events this fall, including student-led tours and virtual information sessions. More information will be shared closer to September. In the meantime, we invite you to explore our website to learn more about SJS and how to apply.

Group Tours

Join the SJS Admissions Team for a group tour of the school. During the tour, your family will be guided by one of our Student Ambassadors, offering you the opportunity to explore our learning spaces and see our students in action. Members of the Admissions Team will provide an overview of the application process and be available to answer any questions you may have.

Registration is required. Please select the tour date that corresponds to your child’s grade level. Families applying for children in different grades only need to register for one tour date. All Junior School tours include a visit to the Senior School spaces.

Junior Kindergarten to Grade 5 Applicants:
  • Thursday, October 15, 9:30–10:15 AM—FULL
  • Monday, October 19, 11:45–12:30 PM—FULL
  • Thursday, November 5, 11:00–11:45 AM–FULL
  • Tuesday, November 24, 11:45–12:30 PM—FULL
  • Wednesday, December 2, 9:30–10:15 AM
Grade 6 to Grade 11 Applicants:

If you are interested in applying for 2028 entry or beyond, we invite you to register your interest by completing the online registration form, and we will notify you when information is available. If you have any questions or do not see a date available to you, please contact our office at admissions@sjs.ca 

IB Diploma Programme Evening

Thinking about SJS for Grade 10 or 11 in 2027? We invite students currently in Grade 9 and 10 and their families to join us—and current SJS parents—for a special evening exploring the IB Diploma Programme.

This session will provide an overview of what to expect in the IB Diploma Programme, including:

  • The DP Core: An introduction to Theory of Knowledge (TOK), the Extended Essay (EE), and Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS)—key components that distinguish the IB Diploma and give excellent preparation for university.
  • Subject Selection and Course Pathways: Learn about the six subject groups, Higher Level (HL) and Standard Level (SL) courses, and how course choices can align with your interests and future university plans.
  • Student Well-Being and Academic Support: An honest look at academics, balance and the support available at SJS to ensure students thrive.

This session is an opportunity to learn more about the academic program, student experience and path to graduation at SJS. 

Registration is required for the event on Wednesday, November 18, starting at 6:00 and finishing at approximately 7:30 PM. Please register online.

Virtual Q&A with SJS

Learn more about SJS through a virtual Q&A. These informal sessions are designed to give prospective families the opportunity to ask questions, connect with school leaders, and learn more about the SJS community in a relaxed, conversational setting.

Our School Principals will answer questions about the student experience, the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme, and life at SJS. The Admissions Team will also provide a brief overview of the application process and next steps.

We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to engage directly with our principals and learn more about what makes SJS a truly exceptional place for learning.
